At Still Sharp Music we aim to give you the best and most friendly service that we can. In order for us to achieve this we ask that you read our terms and conditions which outline what you can expect from us as a company and what we would expect of you as a customer. Our hope is that this will help to avoid potential confusion and complications.

Terms and Conditions

  • All customers will be contracted
  • Contracts will outline expectations of Still Sharp Music for the customer and of the customer
  • Respect will be given to our staff at all times and we reserve the right to terminate any contract without notice if behaviour is deemed unacceptable
  • In all other circumstances one week's notice wil be required to terminate or change a contract either by the customer or by Still Sharp Music. Any re-imbursments will be calculated with this in mind
  • Payments must be made in advance of any tuition
  • Payments must be made in a form agreed between the customer and Still Sharp Music (normally by cheque/ postal order or direct debit)
  • Anyone is eligible for the instrument rental scheme
  • Insurance for instruments hired fron SSM must be provided by the customer and evidence produced before allocation
  • Customers will be responsible for damage repair and general servicing to instruments borrowed from SSM (except technology equipment unless hired separately)
  • Customers will not be responsible for malfunctioning technological equipment or musical instruments. The company will endeavour to rectify such problems or provide replacements at the eariest opportunity should these faults occur
  • Customers will be asked to offer feedback about our services on a regular basis to ensure we are providing the best possible education (voluntary)
  • Still Sharp Music is an independant education service provider for the adult community. It serves people 18 years of age and older
  • Under no circumstances will people under the age of 18 be permitted to attend Still Sharp Music classes in any capacity.
  • Still Sharp Music Public Liability Insurance only covers people over the age of 18
  • Still Sharp Music as a company will endeavour to provide an ethos for adult learners to enjoy their studies in a safe, supportive and appropriate environment
  • SSM will communicate with customers about changes to the company or any relevant notices regarding venues, timetables or teachers/ facilitators
  • SSM will attempt to act upon any complaints aimed towards the company or staff at the earliest opportunity
  • Special Offers and Discounts will be revised on a regular basis (at least bi-annually)
  • Special Offers and Discounts will be issued subject to availability
  • T-Shirts are allocated 1 per customer and a nil returns policy is enforced. We will however try to ensure the customer is content with the size/ colour
  • Customers subscribing to a second (or more) year of tuition to SSM will be offered a better quality polo-style shirt bearing the company logo
  • Merchandise will be available for Still Sharp customers at discounted rates
  • Offers and discounts will be made available to customers who recommend our services to other potential customers
